2010 June 26 – Field Trip: Smithsonian Folklife Festival

Send us your program and field trip ideas/suggestions
Greetings all,
At the business meeting an interest was expressed in having more programs on Photoshop, photo techniques, and the like. We also discussed the possibility of doing some sort of workshop during field trips. So I’m interested in getting some ideas from all of you as to what you’d like to see in a program or field trip workshop. There’s a lot of talent and expertise in the club and I’d like to take advantage of it. I think we need a mix of basic, intermediate, and advanced topics. Programs would be more appropriate for post-shooting topics, while field trips would be an excellent venue for camera handling and shooting techniques.
So let me hear from you – throw some ideas and topics my way. It’ll help the club officers plan field trips and programs for next year.
The club officers will be meeting in June to start working on the fall schedule. Part of that schedule will be field trips, so please give us a suggestion or three. Let us know where you’d like to go at 6AM on a Saturday morning.
